After a tasty dinner provided by chef Debbie, we covered a bit of business including discussing our involvement with the Knighton Show before DG Maggie held the floor. She told us of the main projects that RI President Rotary GB&I President and herself were involved with and inspired us to get involved as a club as well. These include Polio eradiction and the "Purple 4 polio" lights up on October 24th, Rotary's own charity Foundation, the cancer support charity Tenovus, the Woodlands Trust donation of trees to plant in the community and the promotion of 100 years of Rotary in Wales, She also had some inspiring words about the old chestnut " Membership" . Many thanks Maggie for your interesting presentation and we hope 2017-18 is a great one for you!
