This was a very well attended event with over 150 enthusiastic ladies ( and a few gents ) enjoying the experience and the clothes. We had good tickets sales both before the event and on the night and we were pleased to have the support of the Lady Mayoress of Knighton, Sally Vaughan, who kindly drew the raffle for us. This raffle was well supported with vouchers and prizes donated by local businesses. These included the Knighton Hotel, the Red Lion, the George and Dragon and the Baron in Bucknell as well as Grace beauty in Presteigne, Elaine's Beauty Spot in Knighton and Bradfords in Knighton. Their generosity is very much appreciated, as is that of "Colours" ( represented by Dawn) who provided the clothes and the models. We must also thank the members of the Rotary Club that donated prizes, sold tickets, laid out the hall and raised their voices when needed! The event raised nearly £1100 for the air ambulances and local charities and everyone's support on the night was very much appreciated - great result. Looking forward to the next one!
