7.15 for 7.30pm AGM and Assembly meeting at the Baron

As well as our AGM and Assembly reports, we welcomed Ann and Brian Thompson to Rotary


This was a busy and enjoyable meeting. We started with the induction of Brian and Ann to the Rotary Club of Knighton and District by President Clive. This is a special occasion and we were very proud to have them join the world of Rotary. We know they will enjoy every minute of their time with Club. Next we had the business of the night - the AGM ( discussion of our successes in Clive's year ) and Assembly ( discussion of plans for Sheila's year which starts next week!) This was followed with a presentation, by Assistant Governor Christine Bayliss, to the Club of an award for the best retention of members in the District. Quite a surprise but well deserved! So a rewarding night all round!
