Club Handover at the Baron

The evening when President Paul became a " has been" and President Elect Clive became "king pin".


As always this was a good evening with light entertainment to balance out the formalities of the night. Paul, Ian, Clive and Norman told a number of jokes of variable (!) quality, Sheila did Stanley Holloway ( excellent Lancashire accent!), Carolyn read a series of short monologues and Kim shared his thoughts on Rotary. All very enjoyable and very amusing which set the light hearted tone for the evening. The photos give you an idea of the atmosphere. It has been an excellent year under Paul's guidance and we look forward to another good year with Clive as President. If the way he told his jokes is anything to go by it certainly will be very enjoyable!
