Supper meeting with Dave Golding of PATCH

Mon, Apr 13th 2026 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Hotel Mariners

"Dave Golding spoke to the Club members about his organisation Patch. They provide food parcels and other items to individuals who are in short term difficulties. They receive no funding from any public body, but rely on donations either of cash or goods from members of the public. Some of the local supermarkets are particularly helpful in allowing collection baskets in their aisles for their customers to donate and also giving items getting to their sell-by date which might otherwise go to tip "

The Club were delighted to present Dave with a cheque for £500 to help with the work of this locak charity,
