Speaker Meeting - Parkinson's Society talk and Presentation and District Governor Visit

"Pembrokeshire Parkinsons Group Chair Kevin Bateman spoke to the Rotary Club about the as yet incurable Parkinson’s disease. He explained what his group were doing to support sufferers locally. He also mentioned lines of research that could possibly offer arrestment or even cure in the future. Past President Roger Howells made a donation of £300 on behalf of the club to help with support for local sufferers.
Another welcome visitor to the club was Rotary District Governor Malcolm Hallewell. He spoke to the members about the future of the Rotary movement and emphasised the need to recruit more younger members to carry on Rotary programmes such as polio plus”
