Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Young Carers

We enabled a group of young carers to have a week's sailing off the West Coast of Scotland


Along with the Rotary Clubs of Alloa, Grangemouth and Falkirk and Drummond Laurie accountants we enabled a group of young carers to spend five days in July aboard the Ocean Youth Trust vessel Alba Venturer. They sailed for 127 nautical miles from Oban to Tobermory, Malaig, Lochaline and back to Oban. Excellent weather made the trip all the more memorable and enjoyable.

Two members of the group came to the club and regaled us with their adventures and experiences.
