The E Rotaract Club was chartered by Rotary International on 2nd July 2021. The Club comprises of many members from Cowbridge Comprehensive School Interactors, 2019 cohort, plus members of the Cowbridge community. The official Charter was held at a club meeting of Cowbridge Rotary on 14th September 2021. members of E Rotaract joined virtually and in person.
They are members of Rotary International who have 1.2 million members and 219,000 Rotaractors around the world in over 200 countries/regions.
End Polio Now
The Club are passionate about ending Polio. They promote this on their Club Tee Shirts and held an awareness event in September 2021, where they raised over £450.00. This will be matched 2:1 by the Bill and Melinda gates Foundation.
Fun, Fun, Fun
The Club helped Cowbridge Rotary at the Dog Show on 5th July 2020. They took part in setting up the event plus undertaking the raffle. They took up the opportunity to talk with members of the community, spreading their aspirations for the Club.
