Used Spectacle Collection
We collect used spectacles from local opticians and send them free of
charge to the UK headquarters of the charity Vision Aid Overseas. Any vintage
spectacles in good condition are sold via an on-line store to specialist
collectors. The rest are recycled in this country to obtain any valuable
materials, and any income generated
through this process is used to fund overseas projects providing eye care to
deprived communities.
