For many years now we have, in cooperation with Cardiff Model Engineering Society, organised this event for children and teachers/carers at Heath Park.

The theme of the day is simple: fun. Cardiff East Rotary Club joined with the Cardiff Model Engineering Society at the Heath Model Railway Centre in Heath Park, Cardiff, to give children and their carers a memorable day out.
The event is a great success, with around 90 children attending with their carers. Throughout the day, the children enjoy repeated rides on the model trains, explored the railway setting and taking part in a relaxed, friendly community event designed especially for their enjoyment.
This year the warm, sunny weather added to the occasion and helped create a cheerful atmosphere for families, volunteers and Society members alike.
