Our 7 Core Focuses

Thank you for visiting our "What we do" pages. As a club, our activity and service is aligned with these 7 core elements:

7 core focuses

Rotary clubs bring together individuals from all walks of life and unite to help our community.

Promoting peace

Promoting Peace

Rotary promotes dialogue as a means of fostering cultural understanding and harmony. We offer training to adults and young leaders on conflict prevention and resolution, as well as providing support to refugees who have fled perilous situations. By fostering dialogue and supporting those in need, Rotary works to create a more peaceful and understanding world.

Fighting disease

Fighting Disease

Through education and provision of resources, Rotary works to halt the transmission of deadly diseases such as polio, HIV/AIDS, and malaria. We also strive to increase access to affordable and free healthcare in underprivileged areas, improving the health and well-being of those who lack access to medical services.

Providing clean water

Providing Clean Water

Rotary works to provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene to communities by supporting and implementing local solutions. We go beyond simply constructing wells, and instead offer our expertise to community leaders and educators to ensure the long-term success of our projects. Through these efforts, we strive to improve the daily lives of more and more people

Mothers & children

Mothers & Children

Tragically, approximately 6 million young children succumb to malnutrition, lack of healthcare, and inadequate sanitation each year. Rotary aims to improve these conditions by expanding access to quality care for mothers and their children, enabling them to live and thrive.

Environment

Environment

Rotary members are taking action to address environmental concerns through project development, policy advocacy, and long-term planning. As always, they are using their connections and expertise to drive positive change

Education & literacy

Education & Literacy

Approximately 775 million people over the age of 15 are unable to read or write. Rotary aims to help communities improve education and literacy, reduce gender disparities in education, and increase adult literacy rates. We work towards a more literate and knowledgeable society by strengthening the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy.

Building local economies

Building Local Economies

Rotary works to improve economic and community development through service projects that provide opportunities for both young and old to engage in meaningful, productive work. We also support local entrepreneurs and community leaders, with a focus on empowering women in impoverished areas. By fostering economic development and supporting local leaders, we strive to create a brighter future for communities in need.
