New Benches for Y Bwthyn Newydd

Rotarians Phil Davies and Robert Reeks were at Y Bwthyn Newydd to take delivery of composite benches donated by Rotary Bridgend to replace their current wooden benches. Robert, also a volunteer at Y Bwthyn Newydd, is pictured above trying out one of the new benches for size!

Y Bwthyn Newydd, a specialist palliative care unit at the Princess of Wales hospital looking after people with life limiting conditions, is one of Rotary Bridgend's three centenary projects. We have donated equipment to improve the garden area used by patients, their lived ones and staff.
