Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols

Rotary Bridgend were delighted to welcome members and guests to our first Inter Service Club Christmas Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.

T. Dyfrig Edwards, Chairman of the Trustees of the Bridgend Masonic Lodges Charitable Trust, welcomed all the the Masonic Hall. Rotary Bridgend President Paul Cheadle then gave the introductory address.

The service was conducted by The Revd. Roger Pitman and the organist was Rotarian Judith Shawe.

Richard Pitman. Our guests, along with some of our members, kindly read the lessons.

A very seasonal and well attended service, enjoyed by all, was followed by refreshments of mince pies and mulled wine.
