Pencoed Primary School RotaKids

On Thursday, November 27th, President Paul, International Lead Ron Eccles, Rtns. William and Catherine attended a meeting with the new RotaKids team. The group members are also on the school council.
The deputy headteacher Adam Raymond explained to us what the new team is going to be involved in within the school. They mentioned that they would be involved in the community too, and once they start on these projects hopefully they will be allowed to visit us at the Rotary Bridgend Breakfast Meeting.
President Paul said a few words about Rotary and showed the centenary video projects.
Ron said a few words about the Bridgend International projects including the books that Bridgend Rotary had provided to a school in Monze. He also discussed the Doctors without Borders, which is what the International Team is fundraising for at present.
President Paul handed out the badges to all the RotaKids and the officers received their special badges. President Paul also handed out the RotaKids pledge cards which he read out with the members.
