This year six schools took part in the competition.
Headteacher Mr. M. Street welcomed everyone and gave the competitors some advice.

President Paul Cheadle, M.C., followed who also said a few words of encouragement to the competitors.
The adjudicators were Rtns., Ron Eccles, Hopkin Joseph and Win Griffiths (Chair). Thank you to them for what is not an easy task.

After a break for refreshments kindly given by the Friends of Pen-Y-Fai school, President Paul gave out certificates to all the members of the teams that took part and this year they also received the Centenary Coaster each.
President Paul gave a certificate to the team that came first which was
Pen-Y-Fai Primary School and also gift vouchers and a trophy (pictured at the top of this page).

President Paul also presented the Coety school team who came second, with gift vouchers and a trophy.
President Paul thanked the school, the teachers and those that helped that evening.
My thanks go to Rtn Caron Jones, for printing the certificates and the programmes, Rtn Alan Reeks for ordering the trophies and taking the photographs, Associate member Ceri Griffiths and Rtn, Barrie Ball for helping with the registration etc..
