This month’s outing took twelve ramblers to the historic heart of Bridgend.
Following the Heritage Trail, some thirty plus locations were visited in the two and a half hour ramble. They included some of the oldest building's, the oldest street and the oldest bridge, all dating back to the 15th century. The final location visited was the 12th century Castle prominently positioned on Newcastle Hill overlooking Bridgend.
The outing finished back at the West House Pub, Cefn Glas, where good food, drinks and conversation completed the day.
