Foundation Dinner Meeting at the Heronston Hotel

At this year’s Foundation Dinner our guest speaker was Past District Governor Ray Bevan, pictured above with President Paul.

Following an excellent meal raffle was held which raised £135 for The Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s own charity.

Alan Reeks, lead of our Foundation team, then introduced Ray. Ray gave an interesting and insightful talk which included a brief history of The Rotary Foundation and many facts and figures about the amounts raised by Rotarian and donated to good causes around the world. Ray has set a target for our District that each Rotary member should donated $100 per year.

Ray also spoke of the grants available, including those from District.

Following questions, Ron Eccles then gave thanks to Ray for his splendid talk.
