Primary School Debating Competition

On June 26th a Debating Competition was held at the Debating Chamber of the Civic Centre, Bridgend, for Year 5 Primary School pupils. Four schools took part in the competition.
Master of Ceremonies was President Win Griffiths.The Adjudicators were Secretary Mike Lewis, Professor Ron Eccles and William Williams.

The DGE Malcolm Hallewell and AG Carol Llewellyn attended.
All competitors were given a certificate by President Win, and he also presented winning certificates, prizes and trophies to the winning team Coety and runner up Pencoed school.
Thank you to all the Rotarians that helped on the day.
Also a thank you to Rtn.Caron Jones, for printing the programmes and certificates and to Rtn.Alan Reeks for purchasing the trophies, arranging for the trophies to be engraved and for being the official photographer on the day.
