Breakfast Meeting at the Heronston Hotel

We were delighted to welcome Sarah Murphy, the Senedd Member for Bridgend. Sarah talked about the Coronavirus Support Group she founded for the Bridgend community at the start of the covid pandemic, which resulted in over 12,000 followers. Sarah also raised money for Bridgend foodbank. 

This led to Sarah entering front line politics, on 7th May 2021 she was elected as Member of Senedd for Bridgend. Sarah has called for improved mental health services for young people and the establishment of an eating disorder unity in Wales.

We were also delighted to welcome the new RotaKids team from Coety School. Our President, WIn Griffiths, said the pledge of Rotakids - “As a RotaKid, I endeavour to be fair to all, to serve my community and to show respect for others” - and presented badges to the Rotakids' President, Treasurer and Secretary. The new team presented their plans and we wish them all the best for their future.
