Pencoed Primary School

President Win, leader of the Youth Service Team Catherine Williams and Rotarians John McCarthy, Alan Reeks, William Williams visited Pencoed Primary School,  where we were warmly greeted by the Headteacher, who introduced us to the School Council Members. 

President Win, John, Alan and William gave a short summary of what Rotary International does, and the sort of projects that Rotary Bridgend has been, and is involved in. The Polio Eradication Program was specifically mentioned. Notes were enthusiastically taken by the pupils.

The School Council members decided that they wanted to form a RotaKids Club. The Pledge was read out by the Headteacher, and the Officers Badges were handed out by President Win, and all RotaKids members excitedly received their button Badges. 

We look forward to working with this new RotaKids group.
