The Museum with it's varied collection of planes and helicopters (some being refurbished) gave a great insight into past aviation designs and achievements. There was also a large collection of memorabilia & model aircraft showing the changes over half a century.
There were several aircraft cockpits open to sit in! A Sea King helicopter to walk through and flight simulator to test your skills as a pilot.
After the visit, lunch and refreshments were enjoyed at the historic Blue Anchor Inn, Aberthaw. Another location well worth visiting.
