RotaKids Launch, And More, At Coety

The President and five Members of Rotary Bridgend visited Ysgol Gynradd Coety Primary School to launch the RotaKids initiative, and to provide them with reindeers to sell at the School Fete, and to hand over a Weather Station for school use, in conjunction with the Fruit Tree planting.

We were welcomed by the Headteacher Jonathan Lewis and Ciara David (RotaKids Lead), and invited to join in at the School Assembly. 

A short talk was provided by the President and Secretary on Rotary in general, at the Assembly, and Rtn Edgar explained how the Reindeers he had made, could be 'decorated' as they wished, before selling. 

The Headteacher introduced the RotaKids group to the whole school.The Weather Station was handed over to Year 6 Teacher (Science and Technology Lead) Rhys Jones and the RotaKids group.
