With wonderful photos Graham shared his experiences in Peru and Bolivia, including tales about the local indigenous people and, Graham being a doctor, the healthcare available to the various communities.
Graham started the tour in southern Peru, high in the Andes and along Lake Titicaca, birthplace of the Inca peoples, including the amazing floating islands populated by the indigenous Uros reed community. And when in Peru why not take a sand buggy across the desert dunes!
An insight into a Peruvian hospital ship showed just how primitive and poor healthcare available to the local communities can be.
And so into Bolivia. Here we heard of Graham's exploits including a visit to a nomaidic Kallawaya medicine man and drinking tea made from the dried leaves of the coca plant.
Then back into Peru and a visit to the capital and largest city, Lima.
