For our Zoom run event we had representatives attending from Beirut, California, the Arctic, London and Wales.
The attendees included a District
Govenor, Assistant District Govenor, five Rotary Presidents, a Sergeant at
Arms, a MPHYS Polish student, studying in Aberystwyth, a Welsh Soprano, four
guests and 23 Rotary Bridgend members.
The evening was opened with a welcome
from Rotary Bridgend 's President William.
This was followed by a
personal talk from Julia, a Polish student studying at Aberystwyth University
and joined us from her assignment in the Arctic.

Rhiannon from Rotary Long Beach California, gave an insight of their 280 member
club and activities before and during the present pandemic.
President Kate of Rotary Carson
Gardena-Dominquez L.A. followed on with an overview of her club and its present
activities. Although a smaller club its commitment to local
communities and international projects is outstanding.
For the second time in six months
President Habib from Rotary Cosmopolitan, Beirut was good enough to take time
out and up date us on the September Beirut explosion and the club activities
that are taking place in the wake of the disaster.
The evening was pleasantly supported
by local soprano, Sarah Morris BA Hons,ALCM. Dip.LCM, who sang Suo Gan and
Calon Lan between presentations.
President William closed this truly
International evening giving thanks to all who attended and all participants.
