Breakfast Meeting at the Heronston Hotel

Our member Brian gave a very interesting talk and a great insight into the three years he spent as Manging Director at a Rockwool plant in Poland.

Brian described the numerouse changes Poland has seen over a number of centuries, including partitioning, border changes and the the transition from Soviet control after the Second World War to the current democratic state.

The transition from state ownership to privately owned businesses in Poland created many challenges for Brian in his time in the country.

John McCarthy gave a vote of thanks to Brian and we look forward to part two of his story.
