Dragon Ride

Members of Rotary Bridgend, along with Bridgend Lions and family and friends, once again manned two feed stations for the annual Dragon Ride over the Brecon Beacons.

With over 3,500 riders participating the first of our feed stations they would reach was at Crai Reservoir.

This year the weather was pretty much perfect, dry and sunny with little breeze. 

Our second feed station was at Ystradfellte, just after the riders had climbed (or walked!) the notorious Devil’s Elbow ascent.

The riders seemed to enjoy the event and, as usual, were very appreciative of the refreshments provided.
