Parade Day - Moat Brae - 2015

Rotary and the Inner Wheel work alongside the Summer Festivities for this great annual event with Parade Day

Summer Fair Success

Working in conjunction with the town's Summer Festivities Committee, the Rotary Club of Kirkcudbright held its annual Summer Fair on the Moat Brae on Saturday 22nd August. Despite a slow start with poor weather, attendance was high in the afternoon with the public enjoying the range of traditional entertainments provided. The coconut shy and toy car parking ramp proved popular with the younger age groups whilst adults enjoyed the locally sourced produce at the burger bar and in the beer tent. Several happy visitors went off with prizes won on the wheel of fortune and all enjoyed the home baking provided by the ladies of the Inner Wheel.

Also popular were the ducks on sale for the Rotary Club annual Duck Race which takes place on Sunday 30th August.

The Rotary Club of Kirkcudbright is pleased to acknowledge the assistance and co-operation of the Summer Festivities Committee, the Inner Wheel and the many local businesses that support us in this event. All monies raised will be used to support Rotary charities at home and abroad.
