Thames Link is the Newsletter of the Rotary Club of Twickenham upon Thames. With a message from the President, photographs of events the club has run or attended, and news about new Club members, it is full of interesting snippets

Read about our forty year celebrations at the Lensbury Club in 2018 and have a go at the photo quiz to recognise which pictures are the ones from forty years ago! There's an interesting article about our mock interview project at St Catherine's school and an equally absorbing piece about our support for schools in Kathmandu, Nepal. Or you can read about our sister club's Raclette event for Shelterbox and our International Evening with an Irish theme. Our recent visit to the Hippodrome Casino turned out to be a great surprise as it was a bit of a Tardis and hidden gem in the centre of London! There is a picture from the wedding of a Club member last year - even the proposal had been a Rotary event as it took place on our Club International weekend in Budapest!  At the end of every issue, you will find a "tale from the archives" and this issue's reminder draws us back to our presentation to Brian Rix of a car for Mencap.
