The new Rotary Fair gives the Fruit Machine a whirl..
The new Rotary Fair on Twickenham Green organised by Twickenham upon Thames Rotary Club was a great success and gave us the opportunity to get the Fruit Machine out for an airing.
The Rotary Fair, formerly the Hands Fair, gave us the chance to air out the Fruit Machine before our own Village Fair in June.
The fair was a great success and congratulations need to go to the Twickenham upon Thames Rotary Club and thier events team for a job well done.
Great weather helped to bring out the crowds and we had a great deal of interest, raising a total of £253 with the fruit machine. We estimate that means a spin every minute!
With our own Teddington Village Fair fast approaching and the old Fruit Machine beginning to wobble a bit we made the decision to build a completeley new one, so come along on the 25th June to be the first to see Fruit Machine 2.0 in action.
The Rotary Fair will now be an annual event for Twickenham upon Thames Rotary and we wish them every success next year. For more info see thier special web page here.
