About Sir Vince Cable

Sir Vince Cable is an internationally recognised economist, author, and former Cabinet Minister. He served as the UK's Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills (2010–2015) and later as Leader of the Liberal Democrats (2017–2019). Before entering politics, he held senior positions as Chief Economist at Shell and worked as a Special Adviser to the UK Government and international organisations. He remains a leading commentator on global economics, trade, and public policy.
