The Rotary Clubs of Farnborough and Rushmoor are delighted to announce that their famous Donkey Derby will return on Monday 25th May 2026

The Rotary Clubs of Farnborough and Rushmoor are delighted to announce that their famous Donkey Derby will return in 2026 and this year our main sponsor is the Holiday Inn, Farnborough.

The Holiday Inn has proudly hosted the weekly Farnborough Rotary Club meetings for many years and you can even spot our plaque by its front door, a reminder of our ongoing partnership.

Donkey Derby will take place on Monday 25th May at the King George V Playing Fields, Sycamore Road, Farnborough and we hope to have as many trade and charity stalls on offer as has become customary for this very popular event.

Music in the Park Team members present our

Farnborough Rotary Club, with the help of its fellow Rotary Clubs in our area, our many sponsors & advertisers and, of course, the wonderful audiences from the local community, raised a magnificent £25,000 from this year's Music in the Park concerts.

This year we sponsored two students from The Wavell School in Farnborough and two from All Hallows Catholic School in Farnham.

Every year the Club provides the opportunity for four students from local schools to attend the RYLA, an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary where they develop skills as leaders while having fun and making lasting connections.
