Our Christmas Collections with Tilly and Santa were 17% more than last year and the choirs singing in the Ashley Centre and marketplace were 13% up!
We were able to raise over £3,500 for local charities from the street collections alone.
Many thanks are due to Rotarians, Friends of Rotary and some local charities for giving valuable time and braving the cold and sometimes wet conditions! In addition we had run a successful Mulled Wine and Mince Pies in the Marketplace, helped at St Martin's Christmas fete and run a Meet Santa at Metropolis. All in all we felt very proud of us and our "Friends".
