MARSHALLING ROAD CLOSURES AT REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY PARADE - EWELL
As with years gone by, Epsom Rotary and friends were engaged and present, and a team arranged by Carol Caiger to marshall the Remembrance Sunday Parade on Sunday, 09 November 2025 at Ewell Village. The parade involved all local personnal of the Borough, the Mayor of Epsom, MP Helen McGuire, others with office, local organisations within the Borough, and our President Joe Proops and President of Rotary Club of Ewell laid wreaths.
The marshalling involved manning road closures whilst the parade to include 135 Geo Squadron and many others of office and organisations parade along from HQ to St Mary's Church. The road closuers were only in situ for some 30 to 45 mins causing as little disruption to the town as possible and was necessary to protect those participating in the parade.
Veterans of the Borough were also accordingly invited to the Church Service at St Mary's Church and those that did attend were also accordingly invited to attend at the delicious curry lunch held at !35 Geo Squadron drill hall.
The club also received a thanks from Barb Warwick of Epsom & Ewell British Legion.
An honour to do our duty.
