Marshalling at School Event

St Martin's School Epsom Fireworks Display

A collection of keen volunteers assisted President Joe Proops marshalling at St Martin's School Fireworks display, on Fridya evening 07 November 2025.

The whole event was very well organised and we were given clear and detailed plans to assist in marshalling the event, which meant manning the gate, ensuring safety, crowd control and a free glimpse of the fireworks.

The event took off from around 4.30pm when the crowds slowly poured in - totalling a head count of around 1,400 plus, and entry was by wrist band only. Entertainment was provided up to that time by stalls and food outlets jotted around the playground, and we also provided with walkie talkies and selective high viz jackets. As well as manning gates, we directed participants onto the field where a spectacular firework display filled the skies, before safely seeing people make their way off the premises.

The whole event was very worthwhile, vibrant and well attended and moreover the Club were thanked for their assistance when we left.
