March Veterans Hub
The First Tuesday in the month made welcome all Veterans, mostly familiar and some new Veterans at the monthly meet up at the Army Reserve Ewell. They all seemed as well as could be expected and always pleased to attend, and enjoyed the endless refreshments, and were treated too to some home made bread pudding. On speaking with one of the veterans, he expressed how much he welcomed being able to go to a familiar place and see people whom he now regards as his friends and said that he always looks forward to the first Tuesday in the month. The usual volunteers to whom thanks is expressed were there to assist and also find time to chat to many of the veterans.
Whilst at the Army Reserve I could help but notice a rather special banner that is currently displayed in the drill hall and hence the picture of this.
The monthly Hub is also run alongside monthly archery and model making which follows on the second and third Tuesday of the month.
