December Veterans Hub - 03.12.2024
All were made welcome at the December Veterans Hub and the environment set up by the tea at the Army Reserve Centre as is usual. The place was warm and inviting and many veterans and some guests enjoyed meeting up with friends over endless cups of refreshments and mince pies.
We were treated to a performance by the Ukelele Band - with Christmas carols for all to joint in and a form of therapy when one of our organisers for the Veterans activities brought in his puppy just some 11 months old.
Our regular organisers Barb and Maggie were present as were the regular helpers. A trip is planned to take the veterans on a coach trip to see the Christmas Lights and will be joining forces with Banstead Veterans Hub for the Christmas party on 18 December next.
