Last Car Boot Sale for the Season
Just a probably the final chance this year to build up funds and to catch the best of the weather, I set the alarm ridiculously early to arrive at Hook Road Arena The Daddy of Car Boot Sales but due to the horrendous thunder storms during the night, the venue was closed, so I and my colleague decided that we were up and about and were not going to waste the opportunity so headed down to Dorking Car Boot Sale, which was held in a car park beside the station. There were not many stalls there today, a flow of interested buyers and had to pack up due to a downpour. However, it was great meeting new people and we were able to promote Rotary and did raise some funds towards good causes thanks to donations of members and friends of the Club.
