A talk will be given by Smita Bhayani of Work Stress Solutions

Work Stress Solutions is a small mental health charity based at the Brickfield Centre, Portland Place, Epsom.  We provide a range of free courses and training opportunities to vulnerable people in Surrey.

Solutions Together Project

We are launching our new Solutions Together Project and looking for volunteers who would like to make a tangible difference to someone’s life.    Solutions Together looks to match volunteers with someone who requires support to overcome a barrier to engaging in a meaningful activity.

Volunteers will receive training and supervision from us and will work with clients over a period of 12 weeks to make connections with local community activities whilst helping them overcome their barriers, boost their confidence and increase independence.

Trustee Opportunities

We are also looking for Trustees to help us run the organisation. We are particularly interested in attracting people with proven experience in the areas of fundraising, marketing, finance, Human Resources, legal expertise, or the health and/or Social Care sector; as well as from those who may have first-hand experience of needing the kind of support we offer. Board meetings are usually held in Epsom, 5 or 6 times a year.

We would welcome the opportunity to attend one of your evening sessions to give you more information about our organisation and the services we provide.

In the meanwhile, there is more information about our organisation on  our website https://www.workstresssolutions.org.uk/ .  Alternatively, please do let me know if I can provide any additional information.
