It all started over a year ago now when one of our members decided to have a good clear out of items that were no longer needed or wanted and set up a market place facebook site - Epsom Rotary Bring n Buy. It was quite surprising how quickly interest accumulated and the items sold and the total reached some £1,000 in sales which was the initial target set. Many Rotarians were also able to de-clutter and donate items for sale and the target is circa around £1,500 at the moment with a target to reach £2,000 before the end of the year. Some car boot sales were held along the way to assist with the sales targets and raise awareness of Epsom Rotary. Naturally the other important thing to bear in mind of course is that by passing on items that are no longer wanted or de-cluttering is an environmental thing to do these days for everyone really and monies raised will of course go to the Charities Epsom Rotary are supporting which include The Meeting Room Shelter, Dsycover, Epsom & Ewell Food Bank etc.
If by any chance you do have items you wish to donate to help us raise funds, please do get in touch and collection can be arranged.
