The local round of the Young Musician competition was held at Epsom College in the presence of the Mayor (Councilor Chris Frost), Mayoress and President of the Rotary Club of Epsom. The competiion was again of a high standard and there were 10 contenders. We were treated to a delightful evening of music.
The winners were Ralph Skan (Vocalist) from Epsom College and Luke Melville (Clarinet) also from Epsom College. In second place we had Victoria Morgan (Flute) from Rosebery School and in third place Lucy Forshaw (Flute) also from Tiffins.
Thanks are due to Epsom College and Graeme Lodge for hosting the competition and to Bob Frisby and Tony Axelrod for arranging the evening.
