The Croydon Rotary Clubs Golf Circle (CRCGC) was founded in 1922, originally for the members of the Rotary Club of Croydon which in those days had a membership of well over 100! The Circle was re-formed in 1954 and recruited members from all Rotary Clubs in the London Borough of Croydon. A few members from Clubs just outside Croydon have also joined.
There are usually two playing meetings each year (Spring and Autumn) played as a Stableford competition. In addition there is an annual Matchplay competition against the North Weald Rotary Golf Circle. There is also an annual knockout competition for members of CRCGC.
The aim of the Circle is to provide FUN and FELLOWSHIP and golf is the vehicle to achieve these aims. Everyone is welcome to join and continue to develop the history of the Circle.
