On 11 February 2020 the speaker was Debra Bourne.
Under the heading 'Penguin Hell' she told the story of the ship Treasure which sank off Cape Town in South Africa in 2000 and caused an oil spill. The oil affected many of the penguins living in the area.
Debra, with the help of pictures, told of the efforts made by many organisations and people to rescue the birds and eventually release them back into the ocean.
Debra with penguin can be seen in the photo above with President Chris Dighton.
