During her year, Immediate Past President Loraine decided that she wished Croydon Rotary Club to give our partner school, Broadmead Primary School, a number of copies of the "Dictionaries 4 Life". The Headteacher, Sarah Hunter, was delighted to accept the offer.

A number of club members accompanied Loraine to the school on the afternoon of 01 July 2019 with Assistant District Governor for the Croydon area, Frank Hardiman.

Over 60 dictionaries were given to the school to be used in the classrooms of Years 5 and 6 children. The photograph shows children from the various classes receiving the dictionaries from Loraine and Frank.
