The annual Christmas Party
Hawick Rotary's Christmas Party took place at Mansfield House Hotel on 18th December, with President Mairhi Trickett compèring proceedings. After an excellent meal, she introduced Roslyn Walker who read a Pam Ayres poem and later accompanied the singers. Caroline Wilkinson sang Christmas favourites, Keith Wight supervised the quiz on Christmas films and music and Tommy Mulvee managed a novel game of Christmas Bingo. To round off proceedings the surprise trio of members Gus Neilson, George Thorburn and Andy Tyler led the company in part-singing of God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen.
