Our annual bowling tournament takes place on Wilton Bowling Green
The annual bowling tournament took place, in dry weather, on the Wilton Bowling Club greens on Thursday July 31st. After nail-biting competition (tongue firmly in cheek there!) Nick Bell emerged as the winner, beating Karin Thorburn in the final. Karin would accept she was a surprise finalist! In her semi-final match against Tommy Mulvee, Tommy was lying three shots in the final end when Karin played an ace, nudging one of Tommy's bowls just enough to lie shot!
Much fun was had by all, with some playing lawn bowls for the first time.
The company then repaired to Locanda Romana restaurant for a most social meal.
