At their meeting on 26th September, Hawick's Rotarians heard from fellow member Gus Neilson of his visits to cities across Europe. Gus, wife Elsa, and a group of friends go on city breaks roughly every two years and each time a different couple chooses the location. This had begun with a visit to Madrid in 1998 and Gus's photos revealed a fascinating tour through Bruges, Barcelona, Prague, Rome, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Dubrovnik, Milan, Lyons, York, Geneva and Palma. Gus gave informative and entertaining commentary on his photos, and members asked many questions. Now, where next?
