On 18th July, following a meal at Mansfield House Hotel, we held a business meeting. The main items were approval of a donation of £350 to Shelterbox to provide 2 tropical storm kits to help those made homeless by Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean and confirmation that plans for two fundraising events are well in hand - a Tea Party at Cavers Auld Kirk on September 15th and a film night in Denholm Village Hall on November 16th.
