On 4th July, we were joined by five members of Jedburgh Rotary Club. A meal full of chatter as we got to know each other was followed by a short quiz to test our knowledge of each other’s locales (very limited in most cases) and some light-hearted card games. A prize was awarded for the winner of each the quiz and of the cards - suitably one went to Jedburgh and the other to Hawick. All seemed to enjoy the evening and after further blether all went homeward in good humour.
Below is the quiz all present were set: half a point if only one part of the question is answered correctly. So, everyone should get at least five out of ten for knowing their own town! Surely!
