Club's Annual Bowling Tournament

Eight members took part in the annual bowling tournament, playing in pairs. A variety of bowling styles was observed, and tbh several members betrayed their physical difficulties. There is something about the bowling action which brings graceful photos, as demonstrated by Tommy.

Winners were David Oliver and Judy. Judy was bowling for the first time, which tells much of the quality of the opposition. Second pair were Gus and George.

The photo of Dave and Tommy was offered to members as a caption competition. In my humble opinion the best answers submitted so far suggested ''Just tell him it was a good shot, Tommy'' (Ron Sutherland), ''Don't look as though you are laughing'' (Mairhi)

A meal was enjoyed afterwards at Adam's Kitchen on High Street.
