Presentation of Rotary Quiz Cup to Haddington Primary School

Congratulations to Haddington Primary School who were worthy winners of the Rotary Primary Schools Quiz in Haddington, won the Area Final held at Prestonpans on Tuesday 23rd April and went on to represent the area at the Scottish Final.


The members of the Haddington Primary School Quiz team : Sam Palmer, Laura Overfield, Freya Maycock and Osion Hamilton, went on to represent the area in the Scottish Final held in Carluke. They did very well but came in fourth place, only losing out to the winners by a few points.

We were delighted to have been invited to Haddington Primary School to present the team with be our Haddington Rotary Quiz cup in recognition of their great performance in the competition. 

Photos show the team at the District final in Carluke and the cup presentation photo shows (left to right) Laura Overfield, Sam Palmer and Freya Maycock. Unfortunately, the fourth member of the team – Osion Hamilton was on holiday at the time of the presentation.
